BRAND SESSION develops the image and brand "Private Collection Felix Azpilicueta & Riedel"

This project includes the design of the label for the release of 5,000 bottles of this premium brand, as well as the case packaging and the logo.

Madrid, February 10th, 2011.BRAND SESSION, the leader oeno-desing Spanish company, presented today one of its most symbolic recent projects developed for Bodegas Azpilicueta (Azpilicueta Winery), from DOMECQ group.

The background of this project is based on the excellent collaboration that, for several years, has existed between Domecq Bodegas and BRAND SESSION, particularly in the presentation design of special coupages (Alcorta & Carme Ruscalleda, Esencia de Ysios -Essence of Ysios- by Alexandre Schmidt, Tarsus Limited Edition, Century, etc), in the areas of packaging and branding, where  this design agency is a recognized expert.

Initially, the client asked BRAND SESSION to develop a brand and a label for a special edition of its wine. The result was  “Colección Privada Félix Azpilicueta” / "Felix Azpilicueta Private Collection."

On a sophisticated and elegant label, BRAND SESSION has chosen to incorporate modern elements that renew the image and give harmony to the design, enhancing its high quality through the subtlety of its finish.

Particularly, in order to convey heritage, they created a gold stamping design of the heraldic seal over an embossing paper, displacing sideways the denomination and vintage to obtain a precise imbalance; the name displays a distended varnish treatment and they have included on the upper right corner, another brand shield this time utilizing a uvi varnish, a modern tool for a classic emblem. Furthermore, the wine cap displays the name of the brand in a vertical direction.

But the project has just begun. For the “Colección Privada Félix Azpilicueta” / "Private Collection Azpilicueta Felix”, the winery asked the prestigious factory RIEDEL, founded nearly 300 years ago, for a special wine glass that would enhance the wine features and its virtues. For this instance, BRAND SESSION designed the case that included two of these glasses and a bottle of wine and wanting to go a step further, they also designed a logotype that would identify and be the image of this joint venture. A precise graphic image achieved through an infinite continuous line that gives the project the perfect finishing touch.

Once again, BRAND SESSION has shown that design is the way to obtain a position in the market and that their obsession for excellence achieves the best results for their clients.
